Oh fork!

Between my mom and my soon-to-be mother-in-law, I believe I will have china and silver aplenty. However, I came across the above, unglazed bone china spoons today and couldn't help but be moved by their simple prettiness. The utensils at the very top are letterpressed, the ones in the middle accented by mother-of-pearl. So lovely. Click on the images for more information.

  1. Does unglazed mean that they make that horrible sssccccrrish scrape when they rub together? Like unglazed pottery? If so, I am going to veto the unglazed utensils. Slap some glaze on them so that they rub together nicely and we won't have a problem.
